Le Moon is probably the most beautiful spot in Phnom Penh. It’s a place where you can lounge on a comfortable chair, sip an exotic cocktail and look down on a spectacular view of the riverside, the palace and the bustle of the city below.

This sophisticated bar opened in late 2010 on the roof of the Amanjaya Pancam hotel on the corner of Sisowath Quay and rapidly became a favourite chill-out spot for both visitors and locals alike. As the sun goes down, there’s no beating the stunning nighttime vista and the swank lounge atmosphere – or the list of cocktails – in the city’s first real roofbar.

Nibble on hot and cold tapas – salmon blinis, prawn-wrapped bacon, chicken satay or potato wedges – from the comfort of a grey wicker padded chair as you drift the night away.
